Classkick User Experience Research Opportunities
What is a UX Research Opportunity?
User research studies help us improve Classkick by allowing us to get feedback directly from teachers
During a study we may present you with and gather your feedback on an existing product, a new feature, or even prototypes. Sessions happen online through your computer. Sharing your experiences with us helps inform our product planning and moves us closer to our goal of building something that increases learning in your classroom.
You don't have to be a Classkick user or a tech aficionado to sign up.
We value input from people that are unfamiliar with Classkick or the latest web technology, as well as those who are deeply engaged with them. If you've taught students in any way before, we want to hear from you!
How does it all work?
All you need to do is sign up for a time slot to participate in an online conversation and demo
Wherever you are, you are able to participate in a user study remotely by having a conference through your computer. Remote sessions (held over your computer) may take place outside of typical business hours depending on your local time zone.
Your help in keeping our focus on students and teachers is vital to our mission.
Frequently Asked Questions
What am I signing up for?
You'd be helping us to improve Classkick, both existing features and those that are still in development. For example, we might ask you to try out a new feature and give us feedback on it, or we might interview you to help us plan a new feature.
What sort of people are you looking for?
You certainly don’t need to be a computer expert or Internet enthusiast to sign up. The range of people we’re hoping will sign up actually includes anyone that has ever used taught students in any way.
So what would I do?
When you sign up, you are provided with a link to a shared Google Hangout with our Head of Product. During your time slot, please join the Google Hangout to connect and see our screen. You will see the newest features and provide your feedback while we take notes and make improvements. You can be almost anywhere in the world, but need to have a high-speed Internet connection.
I don't live near Classkick’s headquarters in Chicago. Can I still sign up?
Yes! All of our studies take place online. Wherever you are, you are able to participate in a study remotely (from your computer).
What's the time commitment?
You’ll typically spend thirty minutes with a Classkick researcher. This will almost always be during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm). Remote sessions may take place outside of typical business hours depending on your local time zone.
I don't use Classkick. Can I still sign up?
Yes – we want to try out Classkick with people who aren't already familiar with it, as well as those who are.
If I sign up, are you going to send me spam or sell my information to other companies?
How old do I have to be?
You have to be at least 18 years old before you can sign up.
