I'm kinda the person who always wanted to be a teacher. Like, since I was little. Like, when I was in 2nd grade, I was writing, "I want to be a teacher when I grow up!"
I think the thing that I wish I could make better would be having all the kids raise their hand at the same time... because they need help with everything...
One of the teachers here set up a professional development. Classkick came here and introduced it to us.
Classkick helps me be able to see what all the kids are doing at the same time. And then, see who needs support, who kind of "gets it," and who can move on. It allows me to be helping one student and also still looking at the iPad and seeing who else needs support.
Before I used Classkick, the feedback was generally a day later. I grade the assignment and then you get it back. Whereas when I'm using Classkick, the feedback can be immediate. They can know right away what they need to change, what needs to be fixed... or if they got it correct.
I just think Classkick has kind of changed the students... Their perception of what school can be, as well. "I can be successful, and like, I can get something wrong, and it doesn't have to be a huge deal." "And my teacher can help me."
